EFY!

Last week I went to efy... the best experience ive ever had!! i have a million pictures but ill show you the best! i met some awesome kids and had a main gruop- me, Krista from highland, UT, Chelsea from Perth, Australia (wow!), and Blake & Josh from Mesa, Arizona. I love them so much and miss them so much! We had so much fun together.... love you guys!

So You Think You Can Dance...

On Thursday I went with Dance Team to see So You Think You Can Dance. We were in the very front and we were on TV like A MILLION times. Courtney touched us... AHHH! We were there all day standing up... our feet killed!! we went shopping and saw Jordin Sparks- it was awesome! It was funny... during commercial breaks we would talk to the dancers and this guy named Cory who really didn't matter but entertained us anyway. If you recorded it look for me!!

Girls Camp 2008

This week was so much fun! We had Girls Camp up in the mountains at Teresita Pines Lions Camp! It was 3 nights up in the beautiful woods where there were tons of mosquitoes... I'm covered in stupid bites!! . Our ward got the best cabins (we had bathrooms!! ahh!) because we had the most girls going... 34 =]. I stayed with 8 other girls and a leader who was awesome. The lake was super fun! Here's some pics...

Promotion

Today (Thursday) we promoted out of Placerita Junior High. It was kind of pointless, but nice. We all got dressed up and stood in the 90 degree heat of half an hour before we could go in. Then we went to lunch, and then after I had dance, BJ's for dinner- (pics later). Notice I got 4 inches cut off my hair... its SO short!

On Tuesday I went to the Happiest Place on Earth with the 8th grade! It was super crowded and most of the lines were long, but we had so much fun! Besides all the people, we did a lot! Here's a look...

Washington DC

This Spring Break I took a 5 day trip to the nation's capital with 20 kids and two of my teachers. We had so much fun! We took a red eye flight there and arrived around six am. We got our luggage, ate breakfast, and started the day. We saw a few monuments and then went to the Holocaust Museum. It was a crazy first day... that night was super scary. We were all asleep when this guy walks into our room (of course I was the one in the pull-out couch all alone...) saying that this is his room and who are you etc. My two roomies are out like wood so I get up and start screaming at them but they thought I was crazy. Then the phone rang, the manager showed up at door, (by then we had everybody in the room awake, the lights and TV on) and asked who we were and what we were doing. We told them we were with World Strides and to make a long story short... my English Teacher gave them a shout and all was good again. Until the next night when we got locked out...

But the trip was way fun- I think we saw EVEYTHING in the city including Iwo Jima, Washington Memorial, the Capitol, the Library of Congress, WWII Memorial, Korean Memorial, Air Force and Coast Guard Monuents, and that’s just a taste of it. We had a blast!

Hart Dance Team

Guess what....
I'm the newest member of hart dance team! Tryouts were last Thursday and I made it! Four freshmen out of the nine that auditioned made the team. The other 3 freshmen are so nice- I'm really good friends with them. There's a total of 15 girls that includes 3 seniors, 4 juniors, 3 sophomores, and 4 freshmen. I just found out who my "Big Sisters" are... one is named Carly (junior) and I've known her forever... she's one of my best friend's older sisters so we're already really close. The other is Lindsey (senior) and she lives down the street! I got really lucky with two really awesome girls- I'm so excited! I'll room with them when we go to Elite Camp in July... more info later.
